Questions & Answers

Frequently asked questions

How does membership work?

Midtown Concierge Medicine is a membership-based practice. One annual fee — payable quarterly, semi-annually, or annually — covers your ongoing care relationship with Dr. Smith: longer visits, appointments available the same day or next day, and direct access when you need her. Because the practice is limited to a small number of patient spaces, she has the time to know you and your health well.

Do you bill my insurance?

No. Your membership covers your visits, so insurance is never billed for your appointments — no claims, no surprise bills, no insurance company deciding how long your visit lasts.

What does membership cost?

We share membership pricing during your introductory call, so we can walk through what’s included and answer your questions personally. Request a call and we’ll be in touch.

How quickly can I be seen?

Members are seen the same day or the next day — and appointments are never rushed. That kind of access is exactly what the membership model makes possible.

What if I need help after hours?

For urgent medical concerns, members can call or text Dr. Smith directly, 24/7. Routine questions and refills are handled during office hours. For any life-threatening emergency, always call 911 first.

Do you make house calls?

House calls may be available depending on Dr. Smith’s schedule. They aren’t guaranteed as part of membership, but when circumstances call for one and the schedule allows, she’ll do her best to come to you.

Is there a patient portal?

Yes — once you’re established as a patient, you’ll have access to a patient portal for records and communication. Details are shared when you join the practice.
